Minnie Mouse 3rd Birthday Party!

Minnie Mouse Cake!

Our Minnie Mouse Cake! I love it! Made by Cakes by Juju. It fit the tutu cake stand that I made for it perfectly!

Minnie Mouse Mason Jars! Pick up rubber grommets at your local hardware store that have an opening of 5/16". That opening fits the average straw size. Drill a hole in the top of the lid and insert grommet. Don't forget to put a small air hole in the lid as well :)

Minnie Mouse Oreo pops! Double stuffed oreos, little oreos opened with the filling scraped out, pink chocolate and white icing. All you have to do is dip the small oreos in the melted chocolate, insert them into the duoble stuffing of your big oreo, then dip the whole cookie part way in. You may want to dip in the chocolate a few times to get the desired color and thickness. After the pink chocolate hardens add the white line and dots. To add the stick dip into chocolate then carefully put into the center 🙂

Minnie Mouse ribbon topiary

Minnie Mouse Topiary! Wow! This took way longer than I thought it would. It took over 400 pins!

Minnie Mouse Party Table!

Here is a picture of the party table. Such a fun theme to work with!

The tablecloth was an ongoing project. It started with the top piece, then I sewed on hot pink tulle all the way around. Then I thought wouldn’t a ruffled skirt be cute? So I added about 13″ of a coordinating fabric. Finally I made stuffed pink Minnie bows and hand stiched them on with some decorative pom-pom yarn swagging in between them.

Minnie Mouse floral centerpiece. These are so cute! I took three styrofoam balls and spray painted them black. I attached them together with toothpicks. The pot is a terra cotta pot painted black with white circle stickers on it for the dots. I hot glued a piece of a white boa around the bottom of the pot. Insert wet foam into the pot with about two inches remaining above the top. Arrange your flowers as you desire. I used bright pink roses, white daisies and white mini carnations. Put your Minnie head on a wood dowel and insert into the foam. It will last for at least a week if you keep the foam wet.
